Yesterday I turned 29. I decided to come up to Cumbria to spend it with my parents.
Not being one to celebrate birthdays with cake, jelly and ice cream (ohhh I don’t know) I’ve not been one to scream it from the rooftops. I don’t think my facebook lists my birthday for all to see. Obviously most people go “You’re a year older… what are your plans”.
Rather than have a party, a friend from Preston came up and we drove over to Grange, south of Keswick. Walked through a campsite up a hill giving us a great view back over Derwent Water (see photo). Down into Seatoller and round back to the campsite. It was a lovely 3 hour walk in glorious sunshine. Big thanks for a good walk and a good birthday, Louise.
