Using my Boundary Mapping tool I have redrawn the boundary lines for the constituencies in Cumbria and Lancashire, following the rules set out in the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 2011. This has been done by moving electoral wards from one constituency to another.

My proposals see

• merging of Workington constituency into Whitehaven and Workington Constituency
• merging of Morecambe and Lancaster into Lancaster and Morecambe Constituency
