Peel Energy have submitted a Planning Application (11/00816/FUL) to build 3 wind turbines on the harbour wall of Heysham Port. Below is a map showing the locations of the 3 turbines.

Each wind turbine will have a height (from ground to top of the blade tip) of 125 metres. Peel group’s assets include The Trafford Centre, Liverpool airport, Mersey Docks and a mineral extraction company.
